I just wanna say the cooling system on this beast is insane. I’m getting mid 60°C on 25w tdp while playing highly demanding games. And that’s with a crucial p3 plus 4tb SSD installed no thermal pads. Those were like my idle temps on my old onexplayer lol. Love my win 4!

Excellent products and I greatly appreciate the shipping.

Good product. By the way, GPD is there a way to download the 3.0 bios with the tdp settings in bios?

Hi GPD, can you please upload bios 3.0 to the website? I want fan and TDP control as it’s having major issues when running Linux and using power tools. Also even on windows, I don’t use motion assist and fan profile on works of the app is running. Which interfere with auto-tdp. I know the there are issues when running ot over 35w tdp but I need full contr over for Linux distros. Thank you

The buttons function well, nothing weird here. including the analogs, they feel and plays great. rgb lights are weak, adjustable brightness would be perfect. Display is nice, color profile can be manually adjusted to your liking through Adrenaline. no freesync is a bummer. slide is sturdy. Touch screen is okay, it doesn’t register input if you do it too quickly. but overall usable. had to install the updated driver because it just died by itself after awhile. OS itself has to go through 2 AV checks for me to even consider using it. Windows Defender found nothing, so did BitDefender. full scan. clear. microSD is tested for a bit, no full speed test yet, I find the reverse slotting weird but it accepts my sandisk just find. easily clicks into place and out. remember folks, place it with the yellow pins facing up. Fan is a beast. keeps the temps low all the time. can be quite loud but not annoyingly so. [looking at you gaming laptops]. your palm sweaty when gaming? put them behind the fan, will blow dry for you :] Speakers are loud. there will be times when you accidentally block them but it’s not a deal breaker. The trackpad typing is marvelous, fingerprint sensor is fast. CPU is a beast. runs whatever i throw at it smoothly. but i’m lazy, so i turn on fsr by default, go in game and set resolution to 720p. then play. so YMMV.
